CleverFox Planner £19.99 – Amazon

There is no better way to start the year than starting the year with your life well organised. Personally, I think it is the time of year to invest in a really good planner/diary in order to help you achieve your goals this year.

In my previous post, I talked the things I like to do in order to change my mindset into a more positive one. I mentioned keeping a journal to write your positive thoughts and making a plan to keep you on track.

One of the key items that has helped me get on track is the CleverFox planner. Not only does it come in a variety of cool colours, it has everything you could want in a daily planner.

  1. My Gratitude & Self-Awareness
This is a great page for those who really want to focus on their positive mindset in the the upcoming year. It really does help you sit back and think of all the things you enjoy and you’re grateful for.
  2. My Daily Rituals
This page is great for keeping track of the hobbies and skills you want to learn in the year. You’ll also find in the weekly section of the planner a habit tracker too! No need to pay for a fancy app when its right there in your every day diary.
  3. My Vision Board
Here you can mind map out anything, whether it be your goals for the year or a gym routine. Anything really! Let your creative juices flow! you can even use this page to make your diary look pretty.
  4. My Goals
This is my favourite page as it has a section for every aspect of your life and space to write down what your goals are this year so you can keep going back to this page and reminding yourself if you are on track or not.
  5. My Focus
This narrows your goals down into 5 key goals. Make sure when you write in this section you want to think “S.M.A.R.T”
Specific – Don’t say ‘I’ll try to get fit”, say “I will get fit this year by going to the gym”
Measurable – Don’t say “I’ll gym often”, say “I’ll go gym Tues, Thurs, Sat”
Achievable – Don’t set yourself unrealistic goals. If you know you can’t maintain waking up at 4am everyday for the gym, don’t do it.
Relevant – Don’t just set random goals because it is the new year, make sure it is in line with what you want to achieve in the year.
Time-based – give yourself a deadline perhaps! For example, I plan to lose 5kg by the end of the year.
  6. Monthly Calendar
This lets you see your monthly overview and has sections so you can set your monthly goals, and write about the good things that have happened in the month and what you think you can improve on.
  7. Weekly Calendar
In this section we have weekly breakdown, to-do list, habit tracker and similarly a section where you can focus on your goals, good things that have happened this week and what you can improve on this week.
  8. Bullet journal
For those that like to bullet journal , the final section of the planner is for this!

Did I mention it comes with a bunch of cool stickers?

Value for money: 8/10 – I personally think for £19.99 perhaps the journal could have a few post-it notes.
Quality: 10/10 – the front cover feels luxurious
Design: 10/10

I hope you enjoyed my review and I hope I’ve convinced you to start using a planner! It doesn’t have to be the CleverFox planner, you could buy a plain notebook and D.I.Y it!

Until next time!
